Caden’s Story
This shirt was created in memory of Caden Fine, a 17-year-old junior hockey player from Birmingham, Alabama, whose love for the game took him all the way to Canada to continue chasing his dream. Caden played for the Southern Alberta Mustangs during the 2025–2026 season. Earlier in his hockey journey, he played for the Birmingham Jr. Bulls, and he later played for the Atlanta Phoenix during the 2024–2025 season.
During his 2024–2025 season with the Atlanta Phoenix, Caden tore his ACL and meniscus mid-season, but worked incredibly hard to recover and get back to the level he was playing at. His determination to return to the game says so much about who he was — a hardworking player who refused to give up on the sport he loved.
On February 2, 2026, Caden tragically passed away in a vehicle crash in Alberta, Canada, while traveling to practice with his Southern Alberta Mustangs teammates, Cameron Casorso and J.J. Wright. All three players were remembered as more than hockey players — they were teammates, sons, brothers, friends, and deeply loved members of their hockey community.
This design was made to honor Caden’s life, his hard work, and the impact he had on the people around him. It represents a young player who loved hockey, battled through adversity, and inspired others through the way he chased his dream.
Every shirt is a tribute to Caden Fine — his story, his passion, and the legacy he leaves behind.
