Founder's Story: I grew up in Rochester, New York, where hockey was a part of everyday life. Cold mornings, frozen ponds, and late-night practices shaped who I am. But when I moved down to Florida, everything changed—except my love for the game.
At first, I missed hockey more than I expected. It felt like I had left a big part of myself behind. But then I started looking around. I found leagues, teams, and—most importantly—people just like me. People who had moved down South from all over the country, chasing sunshine, opportunity, and a new lifestyle… but still holding tight to their roots in the game.
We come from different places, but hockey brings us together. It’s more than a sport—it’s a connection to home, to memories, to who we are. And down here, it’s like one big extended family of northern hearts living the southern dream.
Sandbar Hockey CO. was born from that feeling. It’s for everyone who swapped snow for sand, but still laces up their skates like they never left. This brand is about blending beach days with game days—because even under palm trees, hockey lives on. Thanks for being here from the start. Let’s build something special together.
